What are Step Over's?

These free standing Step-over benches are ideal for Clean Room change and/or entry areas, where it is essential to enter only wearing clean room footwear.

These ‘barriers’ allow personnel who are required to change before entry into a Clean Room, to sit down on the bench from the ‘dirty side’, remove their everyday footwear, and then swing their legs across to the ‘clean side’ of the step-over to put on clean room footwear before progressing into the Clean Room.

The process is reversed on leaving.

The seperate storage areas underneath the bench, to either side, allow for storage of footwear.

These Step-over benches have an advantage over fixed equivalents, since because they can be removable, it allows any potentially heavy equipment to be wheeled into or out of the Clean Room relatively easily, without the need for lifting over the bench.

Our Step-over benches are made to order to suit clients own bespoke sizes in either 316, 304 grade stainless steel or powder coated to you specific colour, with adjustable feet.
